It's an even bigger jump than the one above since Raul Ibanez is horrid as a fielder and left field is a key defensive position in SafeCo with it's cavernous dimensions in left-center. If the Mariners signed someone like Kenny Lofton and stuck him in LF, it would give us another 20 or so, possibly more, runs of total (offense + defense). There’s no doubt about that.
